1963-2013 IT’S STILL ABOUT JOBS AND EQUALITY!

THE SEATTLE COMMEMORATION OF THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY
OF THE MARCH ON WASHINGTON

On August 28th 1963,Civil Rights were written into the History Books of
America….. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a Dream” speech
highlighted what was the defining event that took place advocating for
equal job opportunities for all and opening the door for freedom to reign
in the hearts of all humankind — the 1963 March on Washington!

The CBTU (Coalition of Black Trade Unionists); Puget Sound and Pierce
County Chapters will sponsor the march for jobs, equality, and freedom in
commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s March on Washington.
